This Sushi was meant for You (really awful pun)
Sushi You: What is this, a sushi place for ants?! All kidding aside, the place is quaint. There are about 7 tables in the place. About 4 meant for 4 people each and 3 just for couples. They have a modest sushi bar with, usually, one sushi chef going at a time, although the greeter/waiter doubles as a sushi chef. This place is independently own to the max. This place opened in early ‘09 and still has the “Grand Opening 50% off Sushi” banner going. 50% off sushi is also their selling point. The sushi is about 50% cheaper than what sushi traditionally goes for at other places. Their maki, hand rolls, and sashimi going for about $2.00 each or so. Their menus at first, seem like a place mat until they take it away after you order. This may be a good thing considering that at these prices your may never stop ordering.
Their special rolls are about 30% off. They tend to hover around $7-$9.00 going up slightly for the more elaborate rolls. They have some pretty interesting roll combinations but I am disappointed they don’t have Mango Tuna, which some would consider a staple. This place mainly does business by takeout, which by no means affects their in-room dining service. They also have some very interesting item menus such as a Salmon Avocado salad. The menus have pictures of everything, so you know what you’re going to get when you get it. This place is perfect for someone being introduced to sushi. I’m a big fan of the place and like to support it, as the first few times I’ve been there they’ve asked us to tell our friends. The place has seemed to be getting more popular recently. Probably all the kiddies watching The Real Housewives of Trashville Trashylvania horking down raw fish like Shamu turning tricks for food.
Price: $ - Cheap (great for a date, not good if you’re on the D.E.N.N.I.S system since it’s always open)
