Fish Slapping at it’s finest

Sushi Lounge (Hoboken Location): I had the chance to visit this little nook for a friend’s birthday. It’s a neat little place, though the ratio of bar to restaurant is vastly skewed more towards the bar. The dining area is sort of off to the side, with little tables and chairs. It’s a little cramped but still nice. I had ordered the sushi dinner for two which had 14 pieces of sashimi, one california roll and one spicey tuna roll. The sashimi was chef’s choice. Everything was delicious. Although that tends to be the way with sushi and sashimi. If it’s made well, it’s incredible. If it isn’t, you’re in the toilet the rest of the night. I also had green tea mocchi for desert, which is grean tea ice cream covered in rice paper. It was good but came slightly bigger than bite sized. Not very cool, but expected as places like this try to appear upscale. All in all, I was very pleased with the place. I would go again. It’s a cool place to start your night in Hoboken.
