Domo Arigato Robato-san (proper way to say that)

Aki Restaurant: Deep in the heart of the little Tokyo section of Bloomfield (a place which exists only in my mind) there is a little sushi nook called Aki. It is actually in the north end of Bloomfield where all the fancy to-do’s, and people with nuclear families live.

It’s a lovely little spot nestled between a Krauser’s and a pizza parlor. I like that it’s hidden because it keeps it from being too crowded. Which is good because my friends frequent there often.

The sushi is top quality. Granted I’m not a sushi afficianado or anything remotely like that. What I am is a man that knows what tastes good and bad. This tastes great. I’ve recently started eating sushi more frequently as I’ve gotten over the ick and “sushi is for pussies” factor.

They frequently have special rolls and will continue to make these rolls long after they have stopped advertising them (for all you jerks that order off menu). They also have Chilean sea bass, which I have yet to try because I’m too busy trying all the rolls they have. I really enjoy their mango tuna special roll, samurai roll, M-16 roll, and etc.

Desert they have the classic mocchi and something call bomba, which is actually the italian desert tartuffo. And fried cheesecake.

Go here now before they bomb us again. Just kidding. But seriously, check it out it’s a great place.
